Remote control for Vizio TV
Vizio smart TVs run SmartCast and accept a phone as a remote on the same network. The first time you connect, the TV shows a four-digit code and you enter it in the app.
Kliky gives you directions, OK, Back, Home, volume, input switching and playback, a keyboard for searches and passwords, and app shortcuts.
A universal remote app for Vizio TV
A plastic universal remote controls a Vizio by infrared after you enter a code. A phone app needs no code and also controls a Roku or Fire TV Stick plugged into the Vizio, as a separate device in the same list.
Lost Vizio remote
Vizio TVs have buttons on the back, in the lower left or lower right corner: power, volume and input. They are enough to turn the TV on and pick an HDMI port. With the TV on Wi‑Fi, a phone on the same network does the rest.
Vizio TV with a Roku
Vizio does not make Roku TVs; “Vizio Roku remote” searches are about a Roku plugged into a Vizio TV or soundbar. A Roku voice remote can be set up to control the Vizio’s power and volume, as described in set up TV control on a Roku remote. HDMI‑CEC lets one remote steer a device on another HDMI port. Turn it on in the TV’s settings and the TV remote’s arrows, OK and Back keys drive the streaming stick, while the stick’s remote can switch the TV on and change its volume.
