Kliky app: Photo Cast screen with a photo and a strip of thumbnails

Why cast photos and videos with Kliky

  • Full‑screen on the TV

Photos and videos fill the big screen, so everyone on the sofa can see them.

  • Slideshow you control

Play or pause the slideshow and tap any thumbnail to jump straight to that photo.

  • Over your home Wi‑Fi

Nothing to plug in. Your phone and TV only need to be on the same network.

How to cast photos and videos to your TV

  1. Step 1

    Connect to your TV

Phone and TV on the same Wi‑Fi, then pick your TV in Kliky.

  2. Step 2

    Choose photos or videos

Open Cast, allow access to your gallery and pick what to show.

  3. Step 3

    Watch on the TV

Everything plays on the TV. Pause or pick an item from the strip.

Casting vs mirroring

Casting sends the photos and videos you pick to the TV and shows them full‑screen, while your phone stays free. Screen mirroring shows your whole phone screen instead. Use casting for albums, mirroring for anything else.

Choosing photos and videos

The first time you open Cast, Kliky asks for access to your gallery. You can allow your whole library or only the photos and videos you select. If you tapped Don’t Allow, turn access back on in your phone’s Settings › Kliky › Photos.

If your TV doesn’t support casting

Some TVs don’t accept casting. Kliky tells you when that’s the case; use Screen Mirroring to show them instead.

Weak connection

If photos or videos load slowly, move closer to your router or switch your phone to the 5 GHz Wi‑Fi band. Kliky warns you when the connection is weak.

Casting questions

Only to show the photos and videos you pick on your TV. You can allow selected items instead of your whole library.

What’s the difference between casting and mirroring?

Kliky tells you when a TV doesn’t accept casting. Use Screen Mirroring to show the same photos and videos instead.

Why are photos and videos loading slowly?

The Wi‑Fi connection is weak. Move closer to your router or switch your phone to the 5 GHz band.
