A Roku remote on your phone
Every Roku player, Streaming Stick and Roku TV accepts remote commands from devices on the same Wi‑Fi. Kliky uses that to give you the full Roku remote on your iPhone or Android: the D‑pad, Home, Back, the options key, playback and, on Roku TVs, volume and power.
It adds what the plastic remote lacks: a keyboard for searches and passwords, voice search through your phone’s microphone, private listening through the headphones connected to your phone, and shortcuts to your channels.
Remote control for Roku TV and Roku players
Kliky works as a Roku TV remote and as a remote for Roku Express, Premiere, Ultra, Streaming Stick, Streaming Stick 4K and Streambar. Roku TVs from TCL, Hisense, onn., Philips, Element, Westinghouse, RCA and Sharp all run the same Roku software, so one remote layout fits them all.
The Roku has to be connected to your Wi‑Fi, and your phone has to be on the same network. A Roku that is offline cannot be found by any phone app. If yours lost its network, start with connect a Roku to Wi‑Fi without a remote.
Roku remote online, on iPhone and on Android
There is no website that controls a Roku over the internet. Every “online Roku remote” works across your own Wi‑Fi, and browser versions usually ask for the Roku’s IP address. A phone app finds the Roku by itself. Details are in Roku remote online.
When the Roku remote is lost or not working
A phone remote keeps you watching while you fix or replace the plastic one. Work through Roku remote not working, re-pair it with how to pair a Roku remote, or see which replacement remote fits your Roku.
Kliky and the official Roku app
Roku’s own app is a capable remote. It asks you to sign in to a Roku account before you can use it. Kliky is an independent app, not affiliated with Roku: it opens straight to the remote, needs no account, and also controls Fire TV, Samsung, LG and other TVs in the same home.
