Remote control for onn. smart TV
onn. is Walmart’s house brand. Most onn. smart TVs are Roku TVs, with Roku’s software built in.
An onn. Roku TV is controlled exactly like any other Roku TV. Kliky shows the Roku layout: the D‑pad, Home, Back, the options key, playback, volume, power and input switching. It adds a keyboard for typing, voice search through your phone’s microphone and shortcuts to your channels.
Lost onn. Roku TV remote
If the TV is still on your Wi‑Fi, your phone replaces the remote: join the same network, open Kliky and pick the TV. The physical button on the TV, usually under the logo or on the back, turns it on and switches inputs.
If the TV has lost its Wi‑Fi, no phone app can find it. See connect a Roku to Wi‑Fi without a remote for the Ethernet and hotspot methods.
Replacement and universal remotes for onn. Roku TV
Roku TV remotes are not tied to the TV brand. Any Roku TV remote or Roku voice remote works with an onn. Roku TV, and infrared universal remotes that list Roku TV work too. Compare the options in Roku remote replacement and universal remotes for Roku.
onn. Roku TV remote not working
Replace the batteries first. An onn. Roku TV remote without a microphone button is infrared and has nothing to pair: point it at the front of the TV and clear anything in the way. A voice remote is paired: hold the pairing button in the battery compartment, or Back + Home, for 5 seconds near the TV. Then unplug the TV for a minute if it still ignores the remote.
The full list of fixes is in Roku remote not working. Any Roku TV remote works as a replacement, and your phone covers the gap in the meantime.
onn. streaming stick and box remote
onn. also sells streaming sticks and boxes that run Google TV, and Roku-based soundbars. The Google TV devices pair with a code shown on the screen, like any Google TV.
