Remote control for Xiaomi TV and Mi TV
Xiaomi TVs, the Mi Box and the Xiaomi TV Stick run Google TV or Android TV, with Xiaomi’s PatchWall on some models. They accept a phone as a remote on the same network and show a six-digit code on the screen the first time you connect.
Kliky gives you directions, Enter, Back, Home, volume and playback, a keyboard for searches and passwords, voice search and app shortcuts.
Mi Remote, infrared and Wi‑Fi remotes
Xiaomi’s own Mi Remote app works mainly through the infrared emitter built into Xiaomi phones. An iPhone, and most other Android phones, have no infrared, so they need a Wi‑Fi remote app instead. Kliky works over Wi‑Fi from any phone.
Xiaomi also points users to Google Home: once the TV is added there, its virtual remote controls it. That route needs a Google account.
Xiaomi TV Stick and Mi Box remote
The stick and the box ship with a Bluetooth remote. If it stops responding, replace the batteries, restart the device by unplugging it for a minute or two, and pair the remote again under Settings › Remotes & Accessories. A phone on the same Wi‑Fi gets you into that menu while the remote is out of action.
Lost Xiaomi remote
Xiaomi TVs have one physical button, under the logo at the bottom center or on the back near the lower right. It turns the TV on and off. With the TV on Wi‑Fi, your phone does the rest.
If the TV is offline, plug a USB keyboard or mouse into it to reach the network settings. With a stick or box, the TV’s own remote can often steer it through HDMI‑CEC.
Universal remotes for Xiaomi TV
Infrared universal remotes that list Xiaomi work with Xiaomi TVs for power, volume and navigation, without voice. A phone app needs no code and also controls the other TVs and streaming devices in the house.
