To restart: unplug the TV for 60 seconds. To factory reset: Roku TVs (TCL, Hisense, onn. and others) have a recessed Reset button to hold for about 12 to 15 seconds; on Vizio hold Volume − and Input for 10 to 15 seconds. On other brands, open Settings with a phone remote or a USB keyboard and reset from there.
Restart first
Unplug the TV from the wall, wait a full minute and plug it back in. This clears frozen apps, a remote that stopped responding and most “TV not found” problems with phone apps, and it erases nothing.
Why a factory reset without a remote is risky

Reaching the reset menu from your phone
With the TV on Wi‑Fi:
- Install Kliky from the App Store or Google Play.
- Connect your phone to the same Wi‑Fi as the TV.
- Pick the TV in the list and confirm on the TV if it asks.
Navigate to Settings with the on-screen arrows. Remember that the phone loses the TV the moment the reset starts.
