Screen Mirroring: how to start and what to do if it fails

Open mirroring in Kliky, pick your TV and start. The phone and the TV must be on the same Wi‑Fi, and the TV has to accept a mirroring stream.

  1. Connect the phone and TV to the same Wi‑Fi.
  2. Open mirroring in Kliky and pick the TV.
  3. Start, and allow screen recording when the phone asks.

Black screen with sound

Netflix, Disney+ and some other apps block mirroring to protect their video. Open those apps on the TV itself and use Kliky as the remote.

Lag or stutter

  • Move closer to the router, or put the phone on the 5 GHz band.
  • Close other heavy apps on the phone.
  • Keep the phone on a charger for long sessions.

The TV is not offered for mirroring

Mirroring needs a TV or device that accepts an AirPlay, Miracast or DLNA stream. If yours does not, Photo and Video Cast may still work for your own media.
